George Lundwalls Darter reel with serial number 1

Who is George Lundwall? George comes from the beautiful island Gotland. He keeps a low profile, not even a webpage at the moment, but his reels are astonishing and it wouldn’t be surprising if he soon is recognized as a craftsman of the highest standard. He started making reels around in the1980´s for himself and some lucky friends. His production of exclusive reels is small.

This lovely 4-6 line reel is his first made (serial number 1) from the Darter series. It’s never used!
It has lovely details and gives an overall elegant impression. The reel is left handed wind. S-style, counterbalanced handle with knob made of Buffalo horn.
Black side plates made of bakelite and silver spool, reel foot and frame in aluminium, and a handle of stainless steel. It’s rare metal finished and not anodized.
The disc drag is very smooth and at the same time solid. Easy to adjust through a lever on side. It weights 238 gr and balances nicely any bamboo or graphite trout rod. Spool has a 30 mm width and it takes up to 100meters of 20 lbs backing and a WF5 line.
Comes in a protective bag handmade of wool.

Freight is to be paid by the buyer.

Payment & Shipping

- The winner pays directly to GUS bank account no later then 10 days after the finished auction. Payment instructions follows with the auctionmail, which is sent via Tradera.

- We will send your item as soon as we have registered your payment. The item will be sent by post at buyers cost. The freight is to be paid by the buyer. Calculated delivery is 5 days whithin Sweden and 5-9 days for international shipments.
The cost for international shipments whithin Europe is 260SEK.Shipments outside Europe 252SEK.
