After causing a commotion in the streets of Singapore, Magneto turns himself over to the World Court to stand trial once again for his crimes against humanity! But as the trial progresses, the Master of Magnetism thinks it's a farce! And he is strongly tempted to use his Asteroid M technology to sway the chief justice! With the Avengers and the X-Men present in the courtroom, what will Magneto do? Wait for the tribunal's honest verdict or take matters into his own hands? This is a tale of one man's fight for his very soul; and an important chapter in the history of the Marvel Universe! Cameo appearances by Ted Koppel, Psylocke, Longshot, and Gabrielle Haller. (Notes: Magneto previously faced the World Court in Uncanny X-Men 200. Magneto appears next in X-Factor Annual #4. This four-part story was reprinted in 2011 in the trade paperback: X-Men vs. Avengers/Fantastic Four.)
