The Vision has collapsed after losing his left arm in the battle against Isbisa last issue! Wanda rushes her husband to the emergency room and alerts the Avengers! The chief doctor determines that the synthezoid avenger needs an energy transfer to live! And Wonder Man's ionic energy would fit the bill! Once Simon arrives, the transfusion begins; and the Avengers leave the hospital. But as shown on the terrifying cover, that was a big mistake! Because a certain scythe-wielding super-villain has learned about the procedure... and come to make sure it fails spectacularly! After the reaper subdues the Scarlet Witch, his twisted goal is within reach! Can the Grim Reaper kill two brothers with one swing (of his scythe)? Avengers Lineup: Captain America, Hawkeye, Iron Man, She-Hulk, Thor, and the Wasp. (Notes: The Grim Reaper previously appeared in the classic Avengers 160. He continues his quest for revenge in the first issue of the second Vision and Scarlet Witch (1985) limited series.)
