STORY

It all started with a name and an idea. A name that would inspire and show status.
August Raurica is named after an old Roman city in Switzerland that existed in 44 BC.

The August Raurica timepiece follows an elegant design, perfected with Swiss Heart. On the dial, the classic leaf-shaped hour and minute hands move seamlessly, lining up with Roman numeral hour markers to keep you on time.

MOVEMENT

After much deliberation, August Raurica has chosen the caliber-715 movement from the Swiss company Ronda, a gold-plated movement with a long service life of 5 years. Long enough to witness your life-changing moments, isn’t it wonderful?

Ronda is an established Swiss-based company that has its roots in the Basel region. The company was founded by William Mosset in the area’s Waldenburg Valley in 1946 and is now headquartered in Lausen.

Best known for their quartz calibers, Ronda watch movements are used by a vast range of luxury Swiss watch manufacturers.

PREMIUM CASES

316L steel with lower carbon content and a titanium component is the most premium material for the case. 316L is ultra-durable and can withstand corrosion and high temperatures. Perfectly safe & comfortable for any allergy sufferers.

ULTRA THIN

Ultra-thin is a trend, we even have the 2.5-millimeter movement, you may ask why only a 7.4mm thick case and not 6.4mm? We had to pay an extra millimeter to fit every component, we considered it more appropriate. Our watches are thinner than a iPhone 13 mini.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

Sapphire crystal is completely opaque and anti-glare. Moreover, it carries these qualities throughout its entire lifecycle. Therefore, there are no defects and no need for any restorations. The cost of sapphire glass is a separate article.

The cost is higher because of the material itself and the complexity of processing - special tools and equipment are required.

Sapphire is a gemstone associated with royalty. It is believed to attract abundance, blessings, and gifts.
