Beskrivning
Kinesisk rituell-vinbehållare i brons, kallad Jue, detta är ett exempel på utmärkt kinesiskt hantverk. Dateringen är osäker, men inspirationen tros möjligen härstamma från Shang-dynastin (1600-1046 f.Kr.).
Behållaren vilar på tre bladformade fötter och har "taotie"-mask dekorerad ögla flankerad av omvända drakar.
En inskription pryder området över öglan och upp på en av de topplockade stolparna, allt avtecknat mot en "leiwen"-mönstrad bakgrund. Två topplockade stolpar reser sig ur kanten på kärlet, och behållaren har rester av malakit-inläggningar.

Chinese ritual wine vessel in bronze, called Jue, this is an example of excellent Chinese craftsmanship. The dating is uncertain, but the inspiration is thought to possibly originate from the Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BC).
The container rests on three leaf-shaped feet and has "taotie" mask decorated loop flanked by reverse dragons.
An inscription adorns the area above the loop and up one of the topped posts, all outlined against a "leiwen" patterned background. Two capped posts rise from the rim of the vessel, and the vessel has remnants of malachite inlays.
