Double album on black vinyls with gatefold cover

Germany's The Intersphere are being heavily marketed to themetal and hard rock markets, which might not be the best strategyconsidering they're better aligned with the alt scene. Then again,that doesn't necessarily cover their sound either. There isdefinitely a lot going on Relations In The Unseen. Plenty ofdifferent elements ranging from classic rock n roll, pop, punk toindie and post-rock, spiced by a bit of prog aside. Relations InThe Unseen sees the band pushing the envelope further down themusical trajectory. The songs on Relations in the Unseen are donein a standard 3-to-5 minute format, and that is one of this band´sbiggest creative value. The Intersphere makes appealing music, butit doesn´t necessarily reflect on the sole purpose of reaching themainstream, but rather to show that this music knows how to besimple and complex in the same time. If I go with the comparisons,the first few names coming on mind are Von Hertzen Brothers, Museand Dredg. There are many similarities between The Intersphere andmentioned artists, but only in the style they tend to follow.However, with the fourth album Mannheim´s quartet shows thematurity on every step. Relations In The Unseen is a sonic solutionthat encompasses the unique and an intriguing set of songs withstyle and flair. With blueprints that demand both sophisticationand aggressiveness, the band genuinely sounds like they are onfire. No matter is it their most tense or most emotional moment,they manage to loose their inhibitions knowingly. Theprogressiveness of this music doesn´t prove by employment ofodd-time signatures, but rather through a skilfully conveyedcompositions that sound fresh and enjoyable. With this release, TheIntersphere have immediately cast themselves as a vital new voiceof rock. The results of the talent mergence each one in the bandbrings to the table show that originality is not a long-forgottenterm. Get it while it´s hot!
