Fair (F) Skivan är sprucken, kraftigt skev eller kommer inte att spelas igenom utan att hoppa över eller upprepa.

Bra (G) Kan spela utan att hoppa över. Betydande repor, ytljud och spårslitage.

Mycket bra (VG) Märkbart spårslitage och lätta repor. Ytbrus kommer inte att övermanna musiken.

Very Good Plus (VG+) Kommer att visa några tecken på att den spelades och i övrigt sköttes av en tidigare ägare som tog väl hand om den.

Near Mint (NM eller M-) En nästan perfekt skiva. Skivan bör inte visa några tydliga tecken på slitage.

Mint (M) Helt perfekt på alla sätt. Säkert aldrig spelat. Bör användas sparsamt som betyg.II

Good (G) Can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear.

Very Good (VG) Noticeable groove wear and light scratches. Surface noise will not overpower the music.

Very Good Plus (VG+) Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.

Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear.

Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played. Should be used sparingly as a grade.
