Panzerkampf is a relatively new operator in the diecast market. They produce aircraft models under their "Legion Series" brand.

This is a very nice model with battlefield patina which can be seen from the pictures. Comes with anti-armour guns, bombs and rockets already mounted under its wings. Undercarriage can be mounted if you want to display it on its wheels. Spinning propeller and wheels! No pilot but cockpit canopy seems to be quite easy to open if you want to put a pilot figure there.

The Il-2 Sturmovik is rarely found in 1:72 diecast. I have only seen the Il-10 version and one in 1/100 scale!

The handi-work, packing, stand, etc. indicate that this one is made in the same factory as the Hobby Master models - the best in the market. As is/was the Skymax brand.

The Ilyushin Il-2 is a ground-attack plane that was produced by the Soviet Union in large numbers during the Second World War. The word Shturmovík, the generic Russian term for a ground-attack aircraft, became a synecdoche for the Il-2 in English sources, where it is commonly rendered Shturmovik, Stormovik and Sturmovik.
