Two volumes of Signal magazines.

Signal was a German illustrated magazine published in many languages between 1940 and 1945. It was particularly famous for its extensive use of colour photos at a time when most magazines were still monochrome. Time magazine was perhaps its closest equivalent.

The volumes are in very good condition, bound in red cloth covers with gold lettering. Some issues have occasional chipping, a few tears, and some browning as commensurate with their age. The value is greatly increased by the inclusion of two rare English language issues.

English (E) Edition: Nrs. 2, 10

Nr.24 is the special “Ost” (East) issue.

In total 47/48 issues, including 2 of the ‘E’ edition.

The volumes are very heavy, weighing in total about 10kg. International postage is thus expensive, about Euro 80 within Europe. Please ask me for a quotation.
