I have now almost completed sorting coins inherited from my father and these coins are not coins I collect!

On offer here are batch of older coins from France dating from 1854 / 1856 / 1900 / 1906 / 1916

The coins are circulated and most are in fair to good condition. However one or two coins are in well worn condition and the dates are difficult to read!

In coin collecting, simple terms are used to grade coins:

poor - all surface detail is worn, but the date is still partially visible
fair - most of the surface has been worn, and some major detail is still visible
good - circulation has worn the surface of the coin, but major details are still visible
fine - features are less worn and some mint luster shows on the surface - most detail visible
uncirculated - features of the coin are sharp and the luster as a newly minted coin.
