Description:

A Merthyr Tydfil Nwobhm act that were one of Neats more obscure and
short-lived signings. They formed in 1984 and were quickly picked
up by Neat records that wanted to hear some of the bands material.
The band laid down a three track demo at Impulse studios in
Newcastle the same year but the label rejected the material and
sent them back to the studio. Mammath then recorded two tracks that
where accepted by the label and this one and only single where
released as a part of a batch of melodic singles released by Neat
at the time (along with products from Emerson, Saracen and
Valhalla). The B-side ‘Rough N Ready’ can have been a re-recorded
version of the track ‘Are You Ready’ from the three track demo. The
music’s on this single are some anthemic quite catchy rockers with
some nice guitar work. Its an of the more enjoyable melodic Neat
releases even if it doesn’t stand out from the crowd and its also
easy to see why it didn’t take of when it was towards the dying
days of the Nwobhm scene. Guitarist James Rees went on to
