Mikkey Dee is, according to many drummers, among the top ten of heavy rock-drummers in the world today. Mikkey set a standard of double bass drum-technique and fast ride patterns when he was playing with King Diamond in the mid 80´s. Since 1992 Mikkey is the drummer, but also contributes to the song writing, with the legendary group Motörhead. Mikkey’s energetic drumming and tremendous solos are a trademark for the drumming history and are influential for drummers all around the world. Mikkey is using his signature model of Wincent which is based on the thickness of a 2B stick.
