The LA Select features a hardtail string through bridge. Thanks to this design, the ball-end of each string is fixed through the body to help enhance string energy. This allows the pickups to effectively capture more vibrations, increasing resonance and sustain.

Incredibly versatile, the two humbucker pickups situated at the neck and bridge are ideal for Blues, Rock and Metal styles thanks to the precise midrange focus they offer and their ability to handle high levels of gain and distortion. You'll find the neck pickup when not pushed to extremes is capable of smoother tones, making it the ideal choice for Jazz and Pop performances, where the brightness of a single coil is not favoured. At the middle of the body sits a single coil pickup, in contrast to humbuckers, the dynamism of a single coil makes it great for genres such as Country, Blues, Funk and Soul. They are renowned for their bright, sharp and clear ring and the twang they emit. For even more tonal variety, when in position 2 and 4 the single coil is paired with a humbucker, allowing you to achieve the unique P90 out-of-phase sound.

Thin, narrow and rounded. The LA Select's C-shaped neck is incredibly smooth, allowing you to progress up and down the fretboard with ease. It is ideal for a broad range of musical styles and will suit most players.
