A fantastic stoneware vase by Claes Thell from his own studio in Ödåkra, made in a beautiful dark brown black tenmoku glaze.
It has added relief pieces in a contrasting tone that give it a unique and modern look, finished with a small elegant neck.
A wonderful piece by one of Sweden’s great ceramic artists.
The condition is lovely with no chipping, cracks, or breaks, and the glaze has no crackling.
Marked under the base with Thell’s studio stamping and numbering.
