A Rosenthal "Romance Blue" Coffee/Tea Pot. This pot was made during Rosenthal's anniversary year between August 1979 and July 1980.

Rosenthal’s famous Romance design came to be briefly after Philipp Rosenthal visited Bjørn Wiinblad’s studio in Denmark.
Impressed by Wiinblad’s work, Philipp commissioned the ceramic artist to design a set of dinnerware that was both decorative and modern. Romance (German: Romanze) was an instant success, and briefly after being issued in white, many different decors were made. This one, Romance Blue features a flowery blue decor.
