Founded in 1990, the band could quicklyattract attention with their first demo tape The Fog and followingconcerts with scene stars like Hades, Midas Touch and Poltergeist.Megora swiftly established their reputation in the internationalunderground scene. With lots of commitment, self-initiative andwithout deal the band accomplished to tour through Europe as theopener for Metal Church and Wicked Maraya in 1994. Their debutalbum was a success and Megora played diverse shows with bands likeMegadeth, Machine Head, Anthrax, Annihilator and many otherswhereby Megora made an excellent name for themselves as a liveband. The 2015 album Burning Empire will hopefully open more doorsfor the band. Their thrash metal is incorporate with moderninfluences from acts such as Limp Bizkit and Volbeat which makes ita bit different from other thrash metal releases. Maybe the bandtries to find a wider market and im not sure if they have succeededor just scared off the purer thrash metal fans. But no matter whatits quite a fun and enjoyable album.
