Roxettessixth studio album, Have A Nice Day, was released in 1999 and itpresented a more adult contemporary sound in many ways, focusingmore so on piano and strings instead of electric guitars for themost part. The band had lost its American label so the album werentreleased in Usa. The album performed well commercially even thoughit was not as successful as previous studio albums. The album is anemotional rollercoaster, touching mostly upon love, breakups,crushes, loneliness, and the ups and downs of relationships. Surelythis is nothing new when it comes to music, but does anyone do itbetter than Roxette? British magazine NME called it a“clever-clever bastard of an album which defies DoctorRock”.
