Står för James/Jimmy Smith som arbetade för Hardy 1908-1960 och anses vara en av dom bästa rullmakarna. Jag bedömer att denna variant som är storspolad är lämplig för #6 och kanske plus minus en linklass beroende på lina. Tycker den balanserar fint ett 9 fot #6 Hardy Phantom splitcane som jag har och provkastat ihop. Se bild. Obs, spöt ingår inte.

Really nice fly reel, classic from Hardy. Large arbour. Lead finish. Lots of finish left on the reel. Three screw spool latch. Stamped JS! Stands for James/Jimmy Smith who worked for Hardy 1908-1960 and is considered one of the best reel makers. I judge that this reel, which is large arbour, is suitable for #6 and maybe plus or minus a line class depending on the line. I think it nicely balances a 9 foot #6 Hardy Phantom splitcane that I have and test cast together. See picture. Note, rod not included.
