ABOUT THE ARTIST

José Malhoa (Lisbon, September 28, 1948) is a Portuguese singer of popular music.He was born in the parish of Santa Maria de Belém, Lisbon in the year 1948 and it was in the balls of the collective Alves Rente that began to sing. It started by singing fado, then Spanish music. His favorite artist was Tony de Matos, because he sang romantic songs.

Walked at the Radio Artists Preparation Center at the National Broadcaster. He worked in decoration but continued to sing.

After leaving the troop makes a version of "Face of Gypsy", original by Daniel Magal, which becomes a big hit. Edits other albums on Orfeu and Rádio Triunfo.
