5 zloty, 1932 model Polonia – a five-zloty coin, minted in silver, introduced into circulation on 30 November 1932 by the regulation of the Minister of the Treasury Wladyslaw Zawadzki of 28 November 1932, withdrawn from circulation on the basis of the regulation of the Ministers of Economy, Finance and Internal Affairs of the Reich issued on 22 November 1939 during the General Government, according to which coins minted in silver during the Second Polish Republic had to be exchanged for paper money.

A small number of coins have survived. Coins minted in the Warsaw Mint (and not in London) are an absolute rarity.

Although 1,000,000 pieces were minted, most of the mintage was melted down due to the insufficient pressure of the press during the minting process, which resulted in the disappearance of the highest parts of the design.

A coin sought after in any state of preservation, appearing less and less often on the auction market.
