Ian Anderson´ssolo album Walk Into Light was released between the two Jethro Tullalbums The Broadsword And The Beast and Underwraps. The album waswritten and played with keyboard player Peter John Vettese and it´snot very surprising that this was Ian Anderson experimenting to themaximum with synthesizers and drum machines. Everyone else wasdoing the same. This was a time when every single was available in12? format with extra drum machines and music in most pubs startedthumping to the same monotonous beat. Ian Anderson´s mix of folkand rock always works best in his Jethro Tull´s group setting butas a solo album he can experiment more and an excurion into moreelectronic music is probably not every ones cup of tea though. Ifyou like Tull´s albums Underwraps and A then you know what youcould expect
