Vintage Citizen Bullhead Automatic Chronograph Cal. 8110A with Panda Dial

Iconic Citizen Challenge Timer, also called Bullhead Panda.

Year: 1970s

Condition: Good

Movement: 8110A automatic chronograph movement. The movement seems to work but we have not measured the timekeeping or check the powerreserv. The chronograph resets and starts as it should but we recommend a service before use.

The mechanism draws energy from the movement of the hand. The watch does not require changing the batteries thanks to the work of automatic tension.

Inside it’s an 8110A in-house Citizen movement, Japanese accuracy. Fly-back function.
28,800bph (beats per hour) = 8 ”ticks” per second. Energy reserve of roughly 40h.

Case: Steel with just small marks from use.

Dial: Original white dial. The dial is in good condition with small signes of ageing.

Strap: Brown Condor strap

Calendar: Extended timestamp (day of the week / day of the month)

Case size: 38 mm ex crown. The crown is original
