Adidas Authentic 1970s Vintage Travel Gym Handbag – Rare Collectible

This is a vintage Adidas sports bag from the 1970s, most likely from 1976, as indicated by the unique "1976 – MADRID" Adidas logo embossed with a footballer graphic. Notably, the bag does not feature the modern Trefoil Adidas logo: Instead, it showcases Adidas' earlier, minimalist branding with bold lowercase lettering and classic stripe elements. This piece is a collectible example of Adidas’ early design history, reflecting a more understated and utilitarian aesthetic typical of its pre-modern era.

CONDITION

This bag is in very good vintage condition. The PVC exterior remains shiny and intact, with no major damage. There are some surface scratches, all detailed in the images above. The metal zipper is fully functional..The interior shows some wear but no tears making it a well-preserved collectible. See photos above for details.
