David Bowie's "David Live" double LP, released in 1974 on RCA Records (CPL2-0771). This is a live album recorded at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia in July 1974. The album features classic Bowie tracks performed live. This record would be a great addition to any Bowie fan's collection.

Primer disco oficial de David Bowie, publicado por la RCA en 1974.
Realmente circulaban discos en directo como discos piratas el "Santa Monica 72", que recientemente han publicado en CD, pero este se el considera el primer directo oficial de Bowie.
Además, este disco se considera el fin de la era "Ziggy" ya que Bowie aparece en la portada trajeado y su sonido cambia radicalmente en este directo.
Es un disco que conserva la esencia del rock pero con más influencias soul, como el uso de saxofones o los coros.
El directo fue grabado en el Philadelphia Tower entre el 8 y el 15 de Julio y se interpretan canciones de "Ziggy Stardust", "Aladdin Sane" o "Diamond Dogs", donde se pueden escuchar interesantes versiones como la jazzistica "Aladdin Sane", "All the Young Dudes", "1984", los excelentes solos de "The Width of a Circle" y la versión de "Knock on Wood", que fue publicado en single.
