OM HATTEN & ABOUT THE HAT
The Fiscal Guard was formed on September 17, 1885, based on the Barrier Guards, seconded from the former Royal Police Guard (later Municipal Guard) to the tax and customs service. In 1993 the Fiscal Guard was extinguished as an independent body, becoming the Fiscal Brigade, integrated in the Republican National Guard (GNR).
