Iron Heart IH-777-XHS 25oz Selvedge /Selvage Jeans, size W33 L32.
I purchased these new from Iron Heart in March 2022. They were chain stitch hemmed at IH before they sent out to me, to 33" inside leg.
Awesome extra heavy denim, tough and smooth in texture (rather than slubby), the 777 cut is 'slim tapered'. As expected, they were a beast to break in and only just getting somewhere near that. They have not been worn a lot since purchase, mostly in the house (working from home) to try and break them in.
They have been cool washed 3 or 4 times, and the last time now before sale. There is still plenty of deep indigo colour remaining, some fades have started as you can see from the images. But really I'd say that they are still in the earlier stages of their life, they will break in further and of course reward with fading as time goes on.
Given the initial fades which can be seen, they are in great condition. The only thing to mention, is that the bottom pocket thread came loose on the rear left pocket. I home stitched this, it has stayed strong and fixed since, though possibly not the finest professional finish, please refer to the pocket image (no.7). Otherwise no rips, holes or other faults to mention. The leather patch is darker than when new as I have used leather moisturiser after washing, so in great condition other than the colour variance.
I have decide to sell as they are getting too tight for me.
Please see measurements below. But bear in mind that they have just been washed. They will stretch out as required, at least a potential 1-2cm additional across waist measurement with wearing.
Current freshly washed & dried measurements:
Waist (laid flat across) = 16.25" (41.5cm)
Inside leg = 32.25" (82cm)
Bottom leg opening (laid flat across) = 7" (18cm)
