French musician D.Deviant formed Arkhon Infaustus in late 1997but he wanted it to be clear that this wasn´t based on a part timerole played but on his everyday life philosophy. Together with 666Torturer he recorded the "In Sperma Infernum" demo in 1998 and ayear later it was time to once again enter the studio. The endresult this time was the Dead Cunt Maniac EP. It was this EP thatlead the band to a record deal with Osmose productions. This isbrutal and perverse death black metal. Both these tracks would bere-recorded for the bands debut album, Hell Injection, released byOsmose records in 2001. 6 years later the band released theirfourth album, Orthodoxyn. With Orthodoxyn the French quartet taketheir cold n caustic recasting of classic Craig Pillard-eraIncantation to it´s fullest most frightening extent melding ominousmarch molten chaos and swarming sound manipulation with moremalefic efficacy than ever before and it also has some of theheaviest riffs out there. Nothing but pure chaos.
