A beautiful mid-century Furuvik bowl that was designed by Berit Ternell for Gefle in the 1960s.
Decorated with styled flower decor in green.
The series was named after the Furuvik zoo and amusement park outside of Gävle in the east of Sweden. It was manufactured until 1962.
A few of the models were designed by Berit herself, and the rest were designed by Arthur Percy and Sven Erik Skawonius.
Beautiful condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. Some dark marks around the rim (nothing serious, see photos). Looks great.
Height: 5 cm
Diameter: 11 cm
Please take a good look at the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
