These are original Canadian Forces windproof over-trousers, manufactured in December 1982 by Uniformes F.O.B. Ltée. The Canadian OG-107 windproof trousers were part of a layered cold-weather system. Instead of functioning as standard pants, they were purpose-built over-trousers meant to be worn on top of uniform trousers. This is why:
