Early modernist bowl from Säde (Radius in Finnish) series in quite rare turquoise color.

Designer Göran Hongell, one of the founders for mid century modern design. He was the first ever to be hired as designer for glassworks in Finland.

Made on Karhula-Iittala glassworks in 1940-50s. Height 5,7 cm, diameter 16 cm.

Number 4334 in Karhula’s glass catalog of 1947 year.

Excellent vintage condition.
