Amoroso, putto blowing a flute on a book plinth.
Incised signature on the plinth, handwritten designer's monogram "GO" (see Zühlsdorff 1988, no. 1/1.462).
Green overglaze stamp mark on the base: crown above crossed rods, "Rosenthal / SELB-BAVARIA" on both sides and below. Moulding stamp, mould no. "K. 740." and "1".
