A beautiful vintage “Echophone” harmonica made by M. Hohner in Germany, complete with its original box.
This special model includes a burgundy-colored echo chamber (resonator) that amplifies the sound and creates a unique tremolo or “wah-wah” effect when played.

The harmonica is marked ECHOPHONE – M. Hohner – Made in Germany and the chamber is embossed with Hohner and Echophone.
The original box is marked on top and inside with Hohner – The World’s Best, and on the bottom with Real Brass Plates.

There are light signs of wear to both the harmonica and the resonator, but overall the condition is lovely. It plays nicely and looks fantastic. The harmonica is marked with the letter F, which likely indicates its key.
