Strana Officina was born in Tuscany, Italy in the middle of theseventies when the two brothers, Fabio and Roberto Cappaneratogether with bass player Enzo Mascolo starts to play RoryGallagher,AC/DC, J.Hendrix and Black Sabbath covers after theirwork at the factory. The band released two EPs and one LP duringtheir career and played the first Italian Heavy Metal festival in1982 together with Death SS amongst others. Strana Officina werevery important for the Italian metal scene and when the twoCappanera brothers lost their lives in a car crash in the summer of1993 it also meant the end for the band. However the sons of theCappanera brothers joined the band and they were asked to headlinethe Gods Of Metal festivals in 2006. This was an amazing night forthe band and for the fans who where there. This box set includesre-releases of the two EPS and the full length album together withan exclusive 8-track lp with previously unreleased materialrecorded between 1979 and 1989. The box also includes a 16 pagebooklet with rare pictures and bio together with an exclusiveposter
