Avatarium is the Swedish female fronted doom metal band that wasformed back in 2013. Back then it was mostly handled by doom masterLeif Edling but over the years he has stepped back more and moreand leaving the songwriting to to the congenial duo Jennie-AnnSmith and Marcus Jidell. On their fifth album Death, Where Is YourSting, we only find Edlings name on the albums heaviest track,Stockholm. Death, Where Is Your Sting is a gloomy, dark, beautifulalbum that mixes doom metal with classic 70s rock with lots ofdepth and all are performed by brilliant musicians. Avatarium hasonce again succeeded in creating an overall spelndid album that youneed to check out.
