Vintage small jewellery box with lid-NO KEY SUPPLIED-circa 1940s (Weight: 390g / over 500g packed)

This item is a vintage small jewellery box with lid circa 1940s

The box is lined with a red velvet interior and a small vanity mirror which has age marking (see pictures)

The box has a gold-tone metal locking mechanism but NO KEY is supplied to lock the box but the lid is secured with a push-pull clasp on each side

The box has a black faux leather finish and there is a tiny white mark on the lid which can be seen in the pictures listed

The box is used with signs of ageing and wear visible (see pictures) and measures 22cm x 14cm x 6.5cm (depth)
