Hardy the Tealweight II is 2,7” across ( 7 cm.) it weights 84,3 gr. only and will probably take a line #3/4. You can use it for both L or R hand wind. The color of the reel-cage is stowe-enameld ”racing green” and the spool is in ”silver”. The spool locker has the beautiful three screws that came in use on some Hardy fly reels around 1912 and had come into use again in the last years on some Hardy fly reels. This is a really, really rare Hardy fly reel the Hardy Tealweight II, 250 samples only were made in 2002 !
During all the years the classic and beautiful Hardy Lightweight reels had been, as most, eight different reel sizes with the Hardy Flyweight as the smallest and the Hardy St. Andrew as the biggest.
With the Hardy Lightweight the Tealweight II 2002 came the number nine in size to the series of Hardy Lightweights, and for the moment no other than these nine sizes exist. If you want one of the classic Hardy Lightweights in all sizes you now need to collect nine different with the Hardy Tealweight II.
