King Diamond is well known for his fable for metaphysics anddemonic stories, as well as his drive towards atmospheric horrorscenarios and changing masks. King Diamond is one of the mostoutstanding personalities of today´s metal scene. With MercyfulFate and King Diamond he wrote metal-history and is an importantpart of the scene for decades now. Since 1986 King releasesfrequently classical horror metal albums, which because of theiroutstanding storylines and musical variety are unique in the hardrocks scene. Following eleven classical albums now the twelfthalbum `Give me your soul…please´ follows this path. After a breakof three years King Diamond and his long-year partner Andy LaRocque once again recorded a masterpiece, which press already nowdescribes as one of his best albums so far and which consequentlyfollows the tremendous foregoing album `The Puppetmaster´. Thehorror story of the new album would deserve a release as a noveland the songs leave no question unanswered. Horror metal at itsvery best. Long live the King!
