Spiral Shades is a doom metal project formed in 2012 that isinspired by two individuals from different countries with a commongoal of making an album together. Khushal Bhadra a Guitarist,Songwriter from India, Mumbai city and Filip Petersen (Guitarist,Bassist) from Norway, Vennesla got to know each other throughinternet because of their common interest in 70´s heavydoom/progressive rock music. Their debut album Hypnosis Sessions isan album that shows its influences well. Its old school 70s fuzzedout doom metal without discarding mordern technique and a voicethats so totally Ozzy worship. Cant see why any doom metal fansshould want to live without this one. Yes its a magnificent one andcould have been a great follow up to albums such as Master OfReality and Volume 4. Its a fantastic journey back to the doommetal of the 70s.
