Speidel Textron is a manufacturer of watchbands and relateditemsbased in East Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Thecompany was founded already back in 1867 and it grew fast in the50s when they were among the first companies to have TVadvertisement. In the 70s the company expanded first in Canadanthen through Australia, to England, Germany and the Nordiccountries. In 1972 they were manufacturing metal watchbands forSeiko who at the time had just introduced the Quartz watch. In 1981Speidel released this vinyl album as an advertisement for theirbracelets. On this disc youll find some of the bigger stars of thelate 70s. Here you have Cheap Trick, Kiss, Journey, K.C And TheSunshine Band, Atlanta Rhythm Section and more.
