Handmade camphor wooden case from approx. the second half of the 20th century. Chinese made . Case is richly carved on the outside with beautiful scenes.

The scenes consist of beauties and scholars in a garden with pavilions, horses, forts, pine trees, and rivers.

The camphor case has a hinged lid and a nicely decorated brass clasp.

Cases made of valuable camphor wood are used to store clothes and protect them from moths.

The case has signs of wear but is otherwise in very good condition, see photos for further information.

Measurements: height 36 cm, width 70 cm, and depth 34 cm.
