2023 re-issue on gold vinyl

The progressive death metal act In Mourning were assembled inthe year 2000. The band released no less than 5 demos beforegetting a record deal. Their debut album Shrouded Divine was thenreleased in 2008. The music is Scandinavian sounding melodic andprogressive death metal, think Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium, Opeth,and Amorphis. Its often quite slow and heavy and the atmospherefeels rather unique with lots of emotions and feels both epic andmelancholic. The vocals goes between deep growling, clean vocals tohigh pitch snarling. Overall a high quality release and fans ofmelodic/progressive death metal should find a lot to enjoyhere.
