On the first day of his European tour in the autumn of 2001, Dale Watson was invited to perform in front of a select group of enchanted fans, adding a new chapter to his impressive discography. Those present spoke of a historic event: the intimacy of the session and the enthusiasm of his hardcore fans created a special, home-like atmosphere that made Dale truly feel at ease. He and his ever-excellent Lone Stars rose to the occasion and allowed the interaction between fans and artists to take the music to rare heights. Dale's choice of material included a number of songs that he had never recorded before. This DVD recording shows the champion of hardcore country at his very best; the sublime combination of sound and vision now enables those of us who weren't there to witness that legendary session, too.
