Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop battle game in which you take command of the forces of the Imperium or their deadly foes. This set allows you to fight conflicts between the Space Marines and Orks. The two sides are represented by models – which you assemble and paint yourself – and the action unfolds around evocative battlefield terrain. This set contains everything you need to play Warhammer 40,000, including two Combat Patrols. Learn to play the game with easy-to-follow guides that introduce you to the rules as you play.

1 softcover Core Rules booklet
A convenient and portable 88-page rules booklet containing everything you need to play, including the basic rules of the game, the battle round, battlefield, and advanced rules, with a reference section. This book measures 160mm by 230mm.

1 softcover Starter Set Handbook
An 88-page guide to getting started in the Warhammer 40,000 hobby – including how to build, paint, and play games with your miniatures.

2 double-sided Reference Sheets
Including army rules, stratagems, enhancements and data sheets for Combat Patrol games.

46 multipart plastic push-fit miniatures
Comprising 2 complete Combat Patrol armies, which can be assembled without glue. Both forces include a mix of infantry, leaders, and support, forming a solid core to expand your collections or start new ones.

13 Space Marines
Elite, genetically enhanced soldiers with the finest armour, weapons, and wargear available. They will stop at nothing to protect the Imperium.

The Captain with Relic Shield, Librarian, Vanguard Veterans' Sergeant, and Land Speeder pilots each come with head options, allowing you to build them with a helmet or bare head. The Land Speeder can replace its onslaught gatling cannon with a heavy flamer.

33 Orks
Warlike aliens who love nothing more than a proper battle. Armageddon draws them like moths to a flame, and they return in force to take it once and for all.

Some of the Ork Boyz and Gretchin include interchangeable torsos to allow for a great variety of poses. The Ork Boyz all have interchangeable heads, and the Boss Nobs who lead the Ork Boyz can replace their kustom shootas with kombi-shootas and kombi-rockets.

15 multipart plastic push-fit terrain pieces
Build a stunning battlefield with these individual pieces of terrain that can be arranged in any number of ways, giving you objectives to fight over and cover to shield your advance. They can be assembled without glue.

2 foldout game boards
Featuring building foundations printed onto the surface. When unfolded, the 1.5mm thick cardboard game boards measure 762mm by 559mm.

2 range rulers
Transparent plastic rulers with 12 inch markings.

10 dice
White six-sided dice with squared corners and black pips for use in games or Warhammer 40,000.
