For two decades ago, a young queen led her desperate people north, fleeing the war-torn and sorcery-plagued lands of her homeland. She settled on the fertile plains south of the forests after having driven out or pacified the barbarian lords who had previously ruled there. She then praised her God, declared the kingdom's rebirth, and ordered the construction of a high seat, magnificent enough to do justice to her new promised lands.

Shortly after their arrival, the queen's people made their first incursions into Davokar, in search of natural resources and seeking riches among the area's many well-preserved ruins. The local barbarian tribes and their witches strictly advised against such undertakings, not only with reference to sharp-shooting guardians, ravenous wild beasts, and wandering trolls. With stubbornness and conviction, they also asserted that only the trees' roots and a thin layer of soil protect the forest's inhabitants from the evil that slumbers in the depths of the groves – abominations and otherworldly beings that long ago crushed Symbaroum, the barbarians' ancient high culture. But Queen Korinthia and her people did not listen, and now evil stirs restlessly in its sleep.

The forest is awakening.

The role-playing game Symbaroum invites you to adventure! Venture into the vast forest belt of Davokar in search of treasures, knowledge, and fame. Seek out the eleven barbarian clans to learn, trade, or plunder their treasure chambers. Create your power base among lords, guilds, or refugees in the great city of Yndaros. Survive encounters with ravenous trolls, wrathful abominations, and undead barbarian kings. But whatever you do, do not ignore the warning from Davokar's sharp-eyed guardians: tread carefully and avoid disturbing the depths of the forests, for in the depths, Symbaroum's bane stirs in restless sleep.

• 5 playable races and 3 archetypes, divided into 15 professions, as a basis for character creation.
• 35 abilities, 25 mystical powers, 33 rituals, and a large number of weapons and armor to make each character unique.
• Detailed guidelines for creating adventures, 38 monsters and adversaries, and 19 monstrous traits to equip the characters' enemies with.
• A full 55 pages describing the game world's history, geography, and cultures, with a special focus on four environments - the forest belt Davokar, the treasure hunter city of Tistla Fäste, the ambrian capital Yndaros, and the barbarians' gathering and assembly place, the rock Karvosti.
• The introductory adventure The Promised Land, including nine pre-made characters and a text-based game example showing how the rules work in practice.
• Symbaroum is a complete role-playing game; all you need is paper, pen, and dice.

Stock Balance - Under shipping costs, you will find the stock balance; for new items, we often have many in stock if you wish to buy more.
Warranty - New items always have at least a 1-year warranty, used items have at least a 6-month warranty.
Choice of agent - Tradera has a new function in the checkout where buyers can choose which agent they wish to have shipments sent to. Unfortunately, Tradera has not made this function work for us business sellers who have systems connected to Tradera, therefore all shipments will be sent to the buyer's regular agent, regardless of whether the buyer made a choice in the checkout at Tradera.
