Beskrivelse
West German art pottery vase, manufactured by Bay Keramik in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
Vase is created using glossy drip glaze technique - blended white and soft grey background and horizontal bleeding band of yellow, green, and dark charcoal tones. A tapered, drop-shaped silhouette or "ovoid" form with a slightly narrower “fishmouth” rim and footed base.
You can see the letters WEST GERMANY on the base, the number is harder to decipher.
Measures: upper diameter 4.5cm, max width 8cm, base diameter 5.5cm, height 18cm.
Gold rim on the upper edge is worn and there is a tiny chipped spot - in the last photo.
