This is a Finnish 5 Markkaa banknote from 1953. Finnish markka was the currency of Finland before it was replaced by the euro in 2002.
The banknote features a conifer branch on the front and a heraldic lion on the back.
The note was issued by the Bank of Finland (Suomen Pankki) in 1963 and was withdrawn from circulation in 1994.
