Serial number Z8402109, firmware AR13. The drive has 64,521 power on hours and was previously used 24/7 as Chia (XCH) plot storage, which is exactly the job this model was built for. SMART overall health is PASSED, with 0 reallocated sectors, 0 pending sectors, 0 offline uncorrectable sectors, 0 reported uncorrectable errors and 0 spin retries. Command_Timeout raw value is 1 and Load_Cycle_Count is 10,313.
A SMART short self test and a SMART extended self test, which reads the whole surface, both completed without error on 15-16 October 2026, and the reallocated, pending and uncorrectable counts were 0 both before and after testing. The drive was at 41 C during testing and the highest temperature in its lifetime log is 67 C.
Testing was done with smartmontools 7.5 (smartctl) on a direct motherboard SATA connection, read only, and the full smartctl -x output is available on request.
