Antique French Hide glue pot, with stand in forged iron and alcool burner. Beautiful workmanship with toothed joint, still usable today. The glue is heated on a normal electric stove, and the stand with the alcohol burner is used to keep the water warm during the work phases. From violin making, to restoration, to bookbinding, etc. Total height approximately 18 cm. Origin France, late 1800s.
