Dark Souls II

Dark Souls II, the third installment in the inexcusably difficult Souls series, will follow in the already very ambitious footsteps of its predecessor, released two years ago. Although the title suggests that it is a direct sequel to Dark Souls, there would be no direct connection between the events of both games.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the man responsible for both Demons Souls and Dark Souls, will not act as the director during the production of Dark Souls II this time. On the other hand, he will take on an accompanying role, while Tomohiro Shibuya (collaborated on the Monster Hunter series) and Yui Tanimura (worked on the Armored Core series, among others) take over his task. Together these two gentlemen will bring a breath of fresh air to the series. The duo has already announced that Dark Souls II will become more accessible - but not necessarily easier - than its predecessor.
