Nice vintage pyrography wooden box. It is handcrafted and painted by a Bulgarian artist. The angles are formed by the dovetailed technique, without nails.
The box is very special because it is typical for the region of the Balkan Peninsula. They are produced by artisans and every object has a unique drawing. Ladies used these boxes to store their jewelry.
The condition is good vintage with signs of use as is shown on the photos.
